Since we are taking somewhat of a break for the month September, yet still wanting to bring truth and encouragement, we thought a revisit to a previous post would be worthwhile. We pray you too are seeking your “rest” and searching the scriptures for the Lord’s leading and guiding in your life.
It is that shedding of light on the dark places and the things that you would probably otherwise not want others to know about you or your life. It can be that fear that leads causes you to sit paralyzed in your circumstances and not make a decision towards action because dealing with the truth seems way to difficult.
We all love to have choices in our life, the freedom to choose. What kind of ice cream to pick. What toppings on your pizza. What career you will choose. But often, the idea of saving sex for marriage is not offered as something to consider as having a choice in.
In order for redemption to happen, there has to be forgiveness. Because today is Good Friday, we celebrate how God has forgiven and redeemed us.
